スペインの有力日刊紙『El Pais（エル・パイス）』紙が発行する雑誌『El Pais Semanal（週刊エル・パイス）』。同雑誌がこの度（3月22日）、スペイン、ラテンアメリカを始め
スペイン語圏のミュージシャン100人を対象にアンケートを行った。アンケートに協力したミュージシャンはそれぞれが「人生を変えた100曲」を選んだ。
ベルギーで生まれフランスで成功したシャンソン歌手ジャック・ブレルの「Ne me quitte pas」が、結果、栄えある１位に輝いた。２位にはビーチ・ボーイズの「God only knows」、３位はビートルズ「Help!」、４位にはスペインが誇るフラメンコの天才カマロン・デ・ラ・イスラ「Como el agua」がランク・インした。続く５位から10位にはカタロニア地方出身のシンガーソングライター、ジョアン・マヌエル・セラート（Joan Manuel Serrat）の「Mediterráneo」 、「A hard day's night」（ビートルズ）、イギリスのロックバンド、ザ・スミスの「There is a light that never goes out」、「A day in a life」（ビートルズ）、「Strawberry Fields Forever」（ビートルズ）、「La leyenda del tiempo」（カマロン・デ・ラ・イスラ）となった。
「アンケート結果から、60年代の強い影響があることが伺える。多くのミュージシャンが、当時、溢れるように沸き起こった文化的潮流から強い影響を受けていることが読み取れる。」「60年代は、各グループがめまいを覚えるほどの勢いで、音楽や文化的ムーブメントをつくり出していた時代」と週刊エル・パイスは結んでいる。
なるほど英語圏のミュージシャンの曲も多いが、ビートルズの曲が多くランクインしているし、懐かしい曲が多い。シナトラやサイモン＆ガーファンクルなど、最近の若い人には馴染みのない（？）曲が中心ですね。スペイン語圏のミュージシャンも、聴いた音楽はさほど我々と変わらないな～と思いました。
